Over the years I've had the privilege of writing articles for our leading industry technology magazines, including Audio Technology, Digital Media World and many others. These articles range from product reviews to in-depth how-to educational pieces.
I've also been asked to present at industry events, giving me the rare opportunity to engage with a whole new generation of filmmakers. These have included Sony Tropfest Roughcuts, DVfest, SMPTE and others.
It has been a real honour to have worked with one of Australia's foremost cinematographers and camera educators, Pieter De Vries. I've had the distinct pleasure of sharing some of my experiences at a number of his camera workshops, and I can assure you, I've learnt more than I ever thought I would about operating one of those lens boxy things!
